How about some suggestions (and responses) on topics you're concerned with?....Discussion of all things about local bicycle racing is encouraged....but you're not absolutely limited to that....

Would like to encourage the race promotors out there to please submit race results to the USCF for inclusion in the Rider National Rankings. The submission process for results is fairly easy.
This will add prestige to events and help local riders compete for their national rankings. This is important for team and personal sponsorship, as well as to help raise the level of local racing.

Hi there,
I was wondering whether race organizers could be encouraged to have a seperate 4 race as well as one for the 5's. The field size in the 4/5's has grown dramatically recently and there seems to be a large number of crashes also. Giving a cash prize for the 5's ( instead of medals!! ) would also encourage riders to ride in the 5's. I hear this from many riders out there currently who are simply afraid to enter the 4/5's for fear of damaging themselves or their expensive bikes.

I agree, there needs to be a separate cat 4 race......the 4/5 races have become VERY sketchy.
